| Betty Carley led the review committee for the 2006 update of the Race Relations Progress Report. Jacksonville's progress toward eliminating race-based disparities and improving race relations is documented in the report, which contains trends from key indicators of the 2005 report as well as additional data not available in 2005. |

| In 1946, the Council of Social Agencies in Jacksonville examined social conditions and racial disparities. This report provides an incredibly detailed examination of race relations and quality-of-life disparities in Jacksonville. | Afesa Adams chaired the volunteer committee that designed a benchmark report to measure race relations and racial disparities in Jacksonville. This first progress report establishes a baseline for our community and gives us a means for holding ourselves accountable and measuring our progress towards resolving race-based disparities and discrimination in Jacksonville. This progress report is an outgrowth of the 2002 Beyond the Talk: Improving Race Relations study. |
