Audrey McKibbin Moran chaired this study of how Jacksonville is building its intellectual infrastructure in order to meet the challenges of a new, knowledge-based economy. It discusses the history of higher education in Jacksonville and current efforts to bring colleges and universities together with the community to shape a brighter vision for the region.
Results of Advocacy efforts:
- Key Chamber initiatives, including a Creative Industry Task Force, Blueprint for Prosperity, and Leadership Trips focused on higher education.
- Duval County Public Schools increased the percentage of students going to college and the percentage of students prepared for college-level coursework.
