Randy Evans chaired this study of healthy neighborhoods and those that are becoming sick, and how residents and government together can catch a neighborhood and strengthen it before it tips into decline. The Neighborhoods Department developed a resident toolkit for neighborhood improvement and the Planning Department is developing a neighborhood indicator project.
Results of Advocacy efforts:
- Residents no longer are responsible for repairing their sidewalks.
- Neighborhoods Department offers more frequent opportunities for leadership training.
- Neighborhoods Department developed a toolkit to help residents improve their neighborhoods.
- Planning and Development continues work on the neighborhood indicator project.Repairing sidewalks returned to the City.
