Jim Rinaman chaired this examination of how the counties of Northeast Florida might work together better to meet their shared challenges and opportunities. As a result, the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce's Cornerstone initiative expanded to six counties, and the First Coast Metropolitan Planning Organization expanded to cover most of Clay, St. Johns, and Duval counties.
Results of Advocacy efforts:
- UNF has formed a new public policy institute.
- Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Cornerstone
initiative expanded to six counties.
- Northeast Florida Regional Council created regional database.
- First Coast Metropolitan Planning Organization expanded to St. Augustine.
