COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
JCCI brings people together to improve their community by engaging in a variety of programs and studies. JCCI provides opportunities for people to:
- Learn about and discuss important community issues
- Reach consensus on recommended actions to solve community problems
- Engage in advocacy efforts to create lasting change
- Meet others who care about the future of the community
The Reports and Studies section is our library of our past community studies and their results. Each study is an in-depth analysis of a problem that Jacksonville faced and provides recommendations for solving that problem.
JCCI Forward provides a vehicle for today's rising leaders to engage in the community and sharpen their leadership capacity.
Everyone who wants to improve their community is encouraged to participate in any JCCI event, such as an Issues & Answers session, community study, or an Issue Forum. For dates and details check out the Calendar of Events.
Every year, JCCI asks the community to identify the most important topics for community conversation, deliberation, decision, and action. Your input sets our agenda for the coming year. We will be sending out our annual survey in the coming months, or you can e-mail us directly with your ideas.
